CRESTA FOOD COURT AESTHETICS

Contract Value: Undisclosed

Client: Cresta Shopping Centre

Ikemeleng prepared a proposal for an aesthetic appeal to the current 3 level food court at Cresta Shopping Centre. The conceptually developed scheme was based on a direct response to the five senses. This was achieved by Sight; the use of organic flowing form, rich earthly colours, natural materials and greenery.

Sound:

Sound absorbing materials, elements and panels to soften the acoustic experience as well as soothing sound of running water emanating from the new water feature.

Smell:

A scented herb garden integrated into the landscaping design.

Taste:

For this sense we defer to the superior expertise of the chefs and food preparers of the Cresta food court restaurants.

Touch:

Carefully selected materials for all elements that hands come into contact with, such as handrails, balustrades, bars and seating elements to cultivate a warm sensual environment for diners.
